I took the Nikon F4s along with me while shooting an engagement session at the Dogfish Head Brewery. I took a lot more shots this time and I just love the colors. The film choice was Kodak Portra 400.
I took the Nikon F4s along with me to a wedding held at the Liriodendrum Mansion in Baltimore because I knew it would provide stunning photos. I loaded the camera with Kodak Portra 400. I didn’t get too many photos, but here are the keepers.
A friend Cullen showed up the other night with his little girl who had just turned 2 so I popped a roll of Fuji 400H in the newly acquired Pentax 645NII and burned through the roll before the sun completely set. Not the normal color you get from 400H, but still nice shots.
My dad found a Petri 35mm camera at a Goodwill so I loaded up some expired color film I had and took it with me while driving around taking photos until I used up the roll. Nothing too exciting here, but I do love the light leaks and colors from the expired film.
I took along the Nikon F4s & Kodak T-MAX while shooting a maternity session in Baltimore. I love the grain!
I had a wedding in Key West so I definitely wanted to shoot film. I took two cameras – the Nikon F4s & the newly acquired Bronica ETR. I used the Nikon for walking around and shooting the wedding rehearsal. The Bronica was only used a few times for art shots. The rehearsal photos weren’t that good due to the focus speed on single shots. I should have used continuous focus. The bad part of film is you don’t know how you did until you get the scans back to learn your lesson. haha
I love being a Delaware Engagement/Family Photographer! It affords me the honor of documenting one of the most important days in a couple’s life. Meet Eddie & Brandon. They’ll be getting married next year. I met them at Belmont Hall in Smyrna and got to work. They brought their 3 littles so we were pulling double duty with family photos as well. The kids were so good and so much fun, I even volunteered as a baby sitter! We got some really good shots and had a lot of fun too. I can’t wait for next week and their big day! Below are some of my favorite photos.
