I love being a Delaware Engagement Photographer! Before the big day comes I get to spend a little time with my clients to get to know each other better during an engagement session. It also gives them a little practice time in front of the camera before the wedding day. Tiffany & Jake picked Rehoboth to have their engagement photos taken. We met there on a Monday evening and it wasn’t that crowded for being so close to Memorial Day. Shocking! We cruised around the strip stopping at different locations to shoot and then ended on the beach. We had a great time and got some great shots. Here are a few of my favorites from the day:

I love being a Delaware Destination Wedding Photographer! It allows me the opportunity to meet special couples and witness a very special day in their lives. Meet Jen & Steve. They live in Maryland and spend A LOT of time at the beach! They chose The Addy Sea in Bethany Beach, DE for their wedding location. It was an absolute beautiful day! Jen loves the beach and it shows. I met them at the Addy for the getting ready & detail shots. She put a ton of work into her details and it showed. Super cool little things everywhere you looked. The ceremony took place on the beach. Afterwards we took care of the family photos and then hit the beach again for some B&G photos. The reception was sweet and their friends and family really shined. I was honored to be a part of their day! Here are some of my favorites from the day:

The Nines, a rediculously good wedding band, contacted me to go and shoot promo photos for them up in Redbank, New Jersey when they were playing a show/bride showcase. I cruised up the New Jersey Turnpike to the Downtown bar and scouted the area for locations. Rain was heading in so we had to be quick. We did some outside shots and then headed inside to use the bar’s brick walls. I hung around for their 1st & 2nd sets to get some live shots as well. They are so good! I highly recommend them to any Bride wanting a live band to play. Make sure to tell them Kelly sent you!

I love being a Delaware Engagement Photographer! Before the big day comes I get to spend a little time with my clients to get to know each other better during an engagement session. It also gives them a little practice time in front of the camera before the wedding day. Sarah & Ethan wanted to shoot their engagement at Longwood Gardens. We met there and then walked around the grounds stopping at different locations to shoot. We tried shooting inside, but Sarah was getting hot and it was a little too crowded (it was Mother’s Day weekend!) so we called it quits and ended up finding some other cool spots on the way out. We had a great time and got some great shots. Here are a few of my favorites from the day:

It also gives them a little practice time in front of the camera before the wedding day. Katt wanted to shoot at the John Dickinson Plantation in Dover & since I never shot there before I thought it was great. We met there on a Sunday, but the place was closed so we took a few shots at the front gate and made plans to come back the next week. Once it was open we were able to cruise around the plantation stopping at different locations to shoot. We had a great time and got some great shots. Here are a few of my favorites from the day:
