I love being a Delaware Newborn Photographer! Especially when a friend wants me to photograph their bundle of joy. Meet baby Escher – I had the honor of photographing him for his parents even though they waited over 10 days like I asked. 😉  Well we were able to get some pretty good shots anyway so that’s all that really matters. He wasn’t too keen on going to sleep so his eyes were open just about the whole time. Here are some of my favorites from the shoot:

Mazal Tov! What a fantastic wedding Ilene & Eran had. These two are so in love with each other it’s amazing. I had the pleasure of photographing their engagement session last year up in New York. Eran is a non-stop joker. I met the ladies at Ilene’s childhood home and photographed them as they hung out, did their hair & makeup, and got dressed. It was super sweet when her dad saw her for the first time. There were tears abound! The ceremony was held at the Congregation Beth Shalom in Wilmington, DE. The weather wasn’t really cooperating with us all week so instead of having their first look outside, we made arrangements to have it inside at the Delaware Center for Contemporary Arts. We took care of all of the family pictures their as well.

Before the wedding ceremony, they held the traditional Ketubah and Bedeken ceremonies (they were pretty cool to watch!). The ceremony was beautiful & the reception was a hoot. They never stopped dancing except for dinner & speeches! I really did have a great time at this wedding and it was my pleasure to be able to document it for them. Here are some of my favorite photos from the day:

I love being a Delaware Engagement Photographer! It’s nice to spend a little time before a wedding to get to know a couple and go over what it’s going to be like on the busy wedding day, but without all the stress. Ryanne wanted a rustic setting for her engagement photos, but the place she liked was 2 hours away! That’s what I get for posting awesome photos! lol  She ended up deciding on Brandywine Creek State Park in Delaware. It was nice, but it took about 4 miles of hiking before finding out that we could have skipped the hike and just shot out front of the park! lol  We had a great time and the weather was nice for once, so all in all it was a good day. I can’t wait for the wedding!

I love being a Maryland Wedding Photographer! Maria & I found each other online and after some back and forth she decided to hire me. We shot their engagement session in Washington D.C. at Union Station which was awesome! Well, the wedding day finally came around and Maria was a little pregnant. Actually, she was a lot pregnant! Nonetheless, she was beautiful and the weather was cooperating for once. I met her at her mother’s house where I captured all of the details and the girls getting ready. From there we headed to the Trinity Church in Joppa. I was able to get the guys’ photos knocked out before the ceremony. Once the ceremony was finished and we took care of the family photos, we headed to Martin’s East in Baltimore for the reception. Somehow we ended up running an hour late, but the staff knocked it out of the park and the rest of the night was a blast!

I love being a Delaware Engagement Photographer! Especially when my clients want to go somewhere cool like Longwood Gardens!! Christine & Mike wanted to have their engagement photos taken at Longwood Gardens so I met them up there and got to work. It was a little crowded, but we were able to get some great shots. I’m really looking forward to the wedding!

  • John Turner - Looked like an awesome shoot in a colourful location! Wonderful collection of images.ReplyCancel

I love being an Delaware Engagement photographer! Why? Because the next part is shooting the wedding! Engagement sessions are a great practice tool to see how the couple & I operate and see who’s a blinker, squinter, etc. Michelle found me a year ago or more to photograph her and her son Andrew. I was stoked when she contacted me about shooting her wedding! I met her & Andy in Lewes to get a game plan for the day and go over wedding details. From there we headed to Nassau Valley Vineyards in Lewes to capture some engagement/family photos. It was a little chilly, but we ended up with some wonderful photos. I cant’ wait to shoot the wedding!

Marlee is a trooper! It takes a lot of gumption to be the focus of attention in front of a male photographer, your husband, & your mother! I had a wonderful time capturing Marlee’s maternity shots for her and I love being a Delaware maternity photographer. We played around with some ideas she had and worked on some of mine as well. I think it went well. There’s even some private photos you can’t see! Here are some that you can:
