I love being a Maryland Wedding Photographer! Shannon & Chris hired me to be their wedding photographer after finding me online and having a great first meeting.  We shot the engagement session last fall & had a blast! I couldn’t wait for the wedding day to get here.  When February finally rolled around the weather wasn’t completely nice to us. It was cold and we had light rain/snow most of the day. We still had a great time and even though we weren’t able to shoot outside, we got some really awesome pictures! They got ready at the Towson University Marriott in Towson, MD and then we headed to the St. Joseph Parish in Cockeysville.  From there we hit the road again to get to the reception site: The Mansion at Valley Country Club. It’s a beautiful venue! The night was a blast and their friends & family were a hoot – even if they were from NJ. lol  Here are some of my favorites from the night:

I love being a Delaware Family Photographer! Especially when my clients refer me new clients!! Meet the Duhadaways. Tami set up a family session with me before Christmas since her son would be home for a visit. We met at Lake Como in Smyrna. Time was tight and the weather wasn’t cooperating, but we got it done. I love being a Sweet 16 Photographer! Especially when it takes me to my favorite city and a unique venue!! Meet Rachel. Her mother contacted me online about documenting her daughter’s Sweet 16 party. They were having it at the Russian Tea Room in New York City. After working out the details, I was ready to go! I took the train up and arrived a little early. Everyone arrived by bus and then went upstairs. If you’ve never been, you have to at least stop in to check out the decor of this place. It’s beautiful! I hung in the background photographing the kids drink Shirley Temples and trying Borsch & other non-teenager foods. lol That was funny! It was truly an honor to be asked to document this special occasion for Rachel. Here are some of my favorites from the day:

I love being a Delaware Engagement Photographer! The engagement session is an awesome way to get to know my clients and for them to get to know me. Meet Stacy & Ricky. They’re getting married next year. He’s a cop, but I’m still doing the wedding. 😉  We met at Killens Pond for their session. It was a little chilly and they needed some warm up time so we got that by doing a little hiking through the woods. We started the shoot on a small bridge and then walked back shooting at various spots with good lighting. They did a great job and I’m excited to shoot their wedding. I love being a Delaware High School Senior photographer! Being a senior in high school is an awesome time in a child’s life. It’s the end of one chapter and the beginning of many more. Photographing seniors is always a blast. It’s a time that we can hang out and let their personality shine in who they are and what they’re into. Meet Nate. The newest 302 Senior. I’ve known him since he was little and it’s pretty awesome seeing him grown up. Actually it’s shocking! He goes to Polytech High School & he’s super into baseball. He plays on 3 teams! We shot his senior session in the park and then let him change into his baseball gear to get some shots that are more suited to his style. I think we did good. Here are some of my favorites:

I love being a Manhattan Engagement Photographer! Especially when my clients want me to shoot somewhere I don’t get to too often. And especially when they say they want to shoot in Manhattan, NY! Ilene’s mom found me on the inter web and after meeting them all at my conference room (Starbucks) they hired me. Ilene & Eran had lived in the city and that’s where they wanted their engagement session photos taken. Me & my daughter took the train up super early to cruise around the city before it was time to shoot. We met Ilene & Eran in Central Park around 92nd street in the Upper West Side. They took me to a few locations they liked and then we headed out into the neighborhoods. We ended up shooting at Cafe Lalo which in case you didn’t know is where they shot some scenes for “You’ve Got Mail” with Tom Hanks & Meg Ryan. I love that movie! That was super cool!! From there we wandered around some more before calling it quits. Here are some of my favorites from the day:
