I love being a Manhattan Engagement Photographer! Especially when my clients want me to shoot somewhere I don’t get to too often. And especially when they say they want to shoot in Manhattan, NY! Ilene’s mom found me on the inter web and after meeting them all at my conference room (Starbucks) they hired me. Ilene & Eran had lived in the city and that’s where they wanted their engagement session photos taken. Me & my daughter took the train up super early to cruise around the city before it was time to shoot. We met Ilene & Eran in Central Park around 92nd street in the Upper West Side. They took me to a few locations they liked and then we headed out into the neighborhoods. We ended up shooting at Cafe Lalo which in case you didn’t know is where they shot some scenes for “You’ve Got Mail” with Tom Hanks & Meg Ryan. I love that movie! That was super cool!! From there we wandered around some more before calling it quits. Here are some of my favorites from the day:
I love being a Family Photographer! Especially when the clients have such a cute little bugger like Sara’s little boy. Sara contacted me for family photos and we settled on Glasgow Park for the location. It was a little chilly and overcast, but the three of them got through it like champs. We walked around the paths and into the woods and ended up at the playground. It was super fun. I think there’s a couple “beautiful baby” winner photos too! Here are some of my favorites:
I love shooting engagement sessions! Sarah & Nick are getting married next year and it’s going to be sweet! We arranged to meet while they were staying at the beach for the weekend and take care of their engagement photos at the same time. We were able to talk about their wedding time line and figure out what was needed for the big day. After that we headed out round Fenwick and were able to get some really good shots. Here are some of my favorites:
I love being a Maryland Wedding Photographer! I met Shannon & Chris at a Starbucks in White Marsh to discuss their day and see if they liked me. They did. Sweet! They’ll be getting married next year the day after Valentine’s Day in Towson so I’m taking my wife the day before & we’ll have a romantic trip out of town. Awww.
We were originally going to shoot the engagement session in Westminster, but Chris found Oregon Ridge Nature Center and decided to go with that instead. It was an awesome find! It was windy and chilly, but we walked around looking for good backgrounds. Shannon was a trooper… & a fashion model! She obviously had been practicing her posing at home. It was such a good time & I can’t wait to see them again on their big day. Here are some of my favorites from the day:
Want to have fun? Get Jen to hang out & it’s guaranteed! She’s a riot and doesn’t stop. Steve somehow keeps up with her or at least he tries. This is why I love being a Delaware Wedding Photographer! My clients are the best. Hands down. Jen is from Baltimore, MD and is getting married Summer 2014 in Bethany Beach. Her parents have beach homes there. I met her & her mom at a cafe and they hired me. I could tell from her crazy-huge sunglasses that she was going to be a handful. I finally had to tell her to ditch them for the wedding though. We walked around Bethany looking for good locations and spent some time getting to know each other. We had a great time and I can’t wait for the wedding. Here are some of my favorites from the day:
I love being a Delaware Wedding Photographer! Jocelyn found me on the inter web and we set up a meeting. We met at McGlynn’s in Dover and discussed their big day. I shot their engagement session after that and for two people that I thought were going to be a little sedated, Jocelyn was off the hook! What a hoot!! Wedding day came a few months later and I met Jocelyn and her girls at the Wesley United Methodist Church in Dover. I shot the details while they hung out and relaxed. Then once the boys showed up I took care of them and then it was back to finish with Jocelyn getting ready. I took the girls outside to get some bridal party shots and then it was Ceremony time. Jonathan waited patiently for his Bride and when she walked in she was stunning. After the Ceremony we all went out into the city to get some more shots before the Reception. Once we finished with those, we headed over to the hall for the Reception. It was a fun night and these two were so much fun. Here are some of my favorites from the day:
I love being a Maryland Family Photographer! Katie found me on the interweb and hired me to photograph her family. I met them at their home and then we headed over to her grandmother’s house. Katie wanted to incorporate the water, but the wind was just too much. Plus the weather was changing so fast, there wasn’t much left on the trees as far as color went. We made due and were able to get some great shots. Their little girl was a champ and never got fussy! Here are some of my favorites from the shoot:
