Guess who was asked to shoot another maternity & newborn session? This guy! lol  Leigh Ann was having another baby so we planned a maternity session and then after the baby came, I went back and photographed Baby Dos and his Big Sister Sam. Sam made sure to let me know that her pictures were going to be shot first. After Sammy’s fashion sesh I moved on to Baby Dos (his real name is Daniel, but big sissy calls him “Prince Charming”). We weren’t able to do the session within the first 10 days so Daniel was not super sleepy (that’s why we should do them so early). I think we got some great shots before he became cranky/hungry. We even snuck in a few of Daddy’s Boston Red Sox & New England Patriots collectibles for special Daddy shots. Take a look and leave a comment below if you like them.

There’s nothing like waiting until the last minute to shoot the engagement session right before the wedding! Anna was a little slow responding to me about scheduling her engagement session. She had a good reason though, she was planning her wedding! She finally got back with me about a time & place. Thank God! (The engagement session is practice for the wedding and to see who’s a blinker/squinter and to get to know each other and to get used to me being in your face all day.) We met at Silver Lake Park in Dover and even Anna’s parents tagged along to watch (I put her dad to work as my assistant!) We had some fun and eventually Jake relaxed and let his super model out. We got some great shots! If you agree, leave a comment below.

untitled 0757 1024x764 Free! Riviera Mia Wedding Photography : Want to expand will work for free!PIN

That’s right, I want to expand my Destination Wedding Photography services to Mexico and work more during my slower winter months up here on the East Coast. Plus I want to go back to those beautiful beaches, great food, and wonderful people! In 2011 I went to Akumal (an hour South of Cancun) with my wife and two daughters and it was AMAZING! We had such a great time and can’t wait to get back!

I am willing to give one lucky couple free wedding photography coverage for their destination wedding in the Riviera Mia. This includes cities like: Cancun, Playa del Carmen, Cozumel, Akumal, Tulum, etc. All you have to do is contact me with the details and if I’m not already booked and you’re a good fit, I’ll shoot your wedding for free! You will have to fly me out and put me up for two nights though (that’s probably less than $1,000!). How much time will you get? I’ll give you 10-12 hours of coverage and give you the photo files on disc and a beautiful wedding album too. If you want one of my custom Wedding Collections, I can do that, but at a reduced price. If you want to do a Day After session I’ll shoot that as well.

So, are you as excited as I am? Get in touch with me and lets get this going!

I love being a Delaware Wedding Photographer! I get to meet and witness sweet couples like Yasmin & Josh. I shot their engagement session a few months back and they were awesome. You could just tell how in love they were. Their wedding day was no exception. They were married at Calvary Assembly of God church in Dover, DE. The reception was held at the Landings on the Dover Air Force Base.

I always start early to photograph the ladies getting ready. This time I was surprised to see one of the bridesmaids was a bridesmaid in a wedding I shot the year before. What a small world! Then I go get the detail shots like the dress, shoes, jewelry, etc. Always fun! Next I spent some time with the boys while Yasmin got dressed. Once back with the girls, Yasmin got some advice from her Grandmother and then went outside for some shots with her dad. He was very proud!

The ceremony was very different. Josh couldn’t hold the tears back once he saw Yasmin coming down the isle and Daddy wasn’t doing much better either. Once they walked up to the alter, Josh went over to the piano and surprised Yasmin with a song he wrote and then played for her. Very sweet! They threw in some cultural touches too and I thought that was very cool!

Once at the reception there was a ton of dancing. After cutting the cake, the Domincans gathered outside for a huge family photo. That was a lot of fun! Yasmin & Josh finished the night with everyone surrounding them and holding hands to create a love circle while they danced. I took them outside before leaving to get some “sexy time” photos. I think it worked! Let me know what you think by leaving a comment.

I love being a Delaware Family Photographer! Last summer I photographed little Ceci and her family while they vacationed in Rehoboth. This year I did it again. Every year Grandmom Maria comes in from Canada to see her little baby Ceci & mom and dad drive in from New Jersey. I love being able to capture these moments and it was amazing to see how much Ceci had grown! This year there was no making her sit so I ran around trying to snap off photos and she just wanted to run. What a sweetie! Here are some of my favorites from the session:
