I love being a Delaware Wedding Photographer! I get to meet and witness sweet couples like Yasmin & Josh. I shot their engagement session a few months back and they were awesome. You could just tell how in love they were. Their wedding day was no exception. They were married at Calvary Assembly of God church in Dover, DE. The reception was held at the Landings on the Dover Air Force Base.

I always start early to photograph the ladies getting ready. This time I was surprised to see one of the bridesmaids was a bridesmaid in a wedding I shot the year before. What a small world! Then I go get the detail shots like the dress, shoes, jewelry, etc. Always fun! Next I spent some time with the boys while Yasmin got dressed. Once back with the girls, Yasmin got some advice from her Grandmother and then went outside for some shots with her dad. He was very proud!

The ceremony was very different. Josh couldn’t hold the tears back once he saw Yasmin coming down the isle and Daddy wasn’t doing much better either. Once they walked up to the alter, Josh went over to the piano and surprised Yasmin with a song he wrote and then played for her. Very sweet! They threw in some cultural touches too and I thought that was very cool!

Once at the reception there was a ton of dancing. After cutting the cake, the Domincans gathered outside for a huge family photo. That was a lot of fun! Yasmin & Josh finished the night with everyone surrounding them and holding hands to create a love circle while they danced. I took them outside before leaving to get some “sexy time” photos. I think it worked! Let me know what you think by leaving a comment.

I love being a Delaware Family Photographer! Last summer I photographed little Ceci and her family while they vacationed in Rehoboth. This year I did it again. Every year Grandmom Maria comes in from Canada to see her little baby Ceci & mom and dad drive in from New Jersey. I love being able to capture these moments and it was amazing to see how much Ceci had grown! This year there was no making her sit so I ran around trying to snap off photos and she just wanted to run. What a sweetie! Here are some of my favorites from the session:

I love being a Bethany Beach Family Photographer! Jenn contacted me to photograph her family while they were on vacation in Bethany Beach, DE. I met them at their house and we got to work. We started underneath the huge porch above. I loved the feeling that it gave being under their. From there we made our way to the beach. One of the couples was recently engaged so I did a small engagement session for them. From there we did couples and then the group. They were a blast! I had such a good time meeting and photographing them! Here are some of my favorites from the shoot:

I love being an Event Photographer! Especially when I get to meet people like Peggy K. Peggy contacted me to photograph a combo birthday party for her husband John and grandchild Audrey. When she said it was going to be a Beatles themed party I was all in! I met them at the house and then started to meet everyone. Once that was done, I started documenting all of the little details Peggy put together around the house and then headed outside. The guests started rolling in and I stood back to capture the day. It was really cool to see everyone get into the spirit of things with their Beatles attire.

Circle That Date provided catering for the party and did an awesome job! I highly recommend them.

The party went on for awhile and I set up an area for the group shots on the patio. Cakes were then brought out and little Audrey had her 1st birthday cake. It was super cute! Next it was John’s turn. He did great until Peggy smashed a piece in his face! I wasn’t eve ready for that! I shot a few more pics and then called it a day. It was a blast! Here are some of my favorites from the day:
