I love being a Delaware Family Photographer! It affords me the honor of documenting a special time in a family’s life. Meet the Fantinis. I met them at Cape Henlopen for a family session. When I say it was cold & windy, I’ve never meant it more! The wind was so out of control so we had to leave Cape Henlopen and head in town to Lewes. It wasn’t as windy in the bay so we finished out the session in the sand. I had a great time and it was honor to document this moment for them. Below are some of my favorite photos.

I love being a Delaware Engagement Photographer! It provides me the honor of documenting one of the most important days in a couple’s life. Meet Rebecca & Joe. They will be getting married next year at Mendenhall Inn in Pennsylvania.  Since we were fast approaching the big day they chose a quick session in Middletown where they live. It was a a little cold and windy, but we were able to get some really nice photos. I had a blast with them and can’t wait for their big day! Below are some of my favorites from the session.

I love being a Maryland Wedding Photographer! It affords me the honor of documenting one of the most important days in a couple’s life. Meet Rachel & Christian. I shot their engagement photos last year at Susquehanna State Park and it was great! Their wedding was supposed to be held in January, but the blizzard that came in put a damper on it. They still had it though with a small group of friends and family. The rescheduled wedding took place at the Vandiver Inn in Havre de Grace. The ceremony was very nice and Rachel was just beaming the whole time. After getting the bridal and family photos done, it was time for the reception. It was super fun and they had a blast dancing and mingling with their guests. I had a great time meeting all of their family and friends & it was an honor to be a part of their special day. Below are some of my favorite photos.

I love being a New Jersey Sweet 16 Photographer! Especially when I get to document such an important phase of a young lady’s life. Meet Jourdan. Her mother contacted me about photographing the Sweet 16 party at Space in Englewood and I was excited to go! If you are in the area and want to through a party, Space is the place! Boy do they know how to throw a party there! The theme for Jourdan’s party was a Night in Paris and she looked like a million bucks in her gown. It was super cold, but it was a great night! They partied hard and had a great time as did I. Here are some of my favorites from the event:

Here’s the first try at incorporating shooting film into a wedding. It’s a lot harder than I thought it would be. A wedding is hectic and duplicating shots or remembering to switch cameras is difficult. Here are some shots from Brielle’s wedding taken on the Nikon F4s using Portra 400. I’m in love with the color & grain from the film, but it’s funny to see how the light temperature/white balance changes with film. These were shot on Aperture Priority so perhaps manual metering and settings will make things more consistent. These were developed by the Find Lab. Let me know what you think.
